Skin cancer can be found just about anywhere on the body, but is most often spotted on sun exposed areas the scalp, neck, face, lips, ears, arms, hands, and legs. It can also show up in strange places, like in between your toes, underneath your nails, and even around your genitals. Skin cancers may bleed and look like sores that do not heal. A long-lasting sore in the mouth could be an oral cancer and should be dealt with right away, especially in people who smoke, chew tobacco, or often drink alcohol.

Pain, depressive symptoms, and fatigue are common problems in patients with cancer. Despite numerous instruments having been developed to assess these symptoms, optimal and standardized methods for the assessment of these symptoms in clinical practice have not been determined. Pain, depression, and fatigue are prominent contributors to suffering in many of these individuals. Clinical research on these symptoms holds out the hope of relief for suffering through better understanding of these symptoms and the development of new, more effective treatments. Pain may not be an ovarian cancer symptom, so do not to wait to feel pain before seeing your healthcare provider.

Pain can affect sleep, but it can usually be dealt with by good pain control. Symptoms, such as feeling sick, breathless or having diarrhoea can also affect the amount and quality of your sleep. Pain in the affected bones - Initially, the pain is not constant and more concerned about at night or while walking in the case of lower extremity injury.

Tests are given to see if the patient has enough lung capacity to safely undergo surgery. Other tests, such as a bone or brain scans, may be needed to see if the tumor has spread to other parts of the body. Testicular cancer is the most common type of cancer in males ages 15-34. Yet men in this age group often ignore signs of testicular cancer because they are too embarrassed to seek medical attention, because they think testicular cancer only happens to "old" men, or because they simply do not know the symptoms of testicular cancer.
