Adenocarcinoma of the skull base may be approached directly by using the Endoscopic Endonasal Approach (EEA) . This approach allows surgeons to see the tumor well without making incisions to the face or skull. Adenocarcinoma of the prostate is malignant, however many types grow extremely slowly, and so are unlikely to spread before a man dies of other causes. Adenocarcinoma of the lung is treated according to the stage of the cancer. For early-stage lung cancers, surgery can often be performed with curative intent, often followed by chemotherapy which increases the chance of cure.

Adenocarcinoma of ducts of Luschka should be considered among differential diagnoses for the patients with typical clinical presentations of chronic cholecystitis and cholelithiasis. Adenocarcinomas can arise in many tissues of the body due to the ubiquitous nature of glands within the body. While each gland may not be secreting the same substance, as long as there is an exocrine function to the cell, it is considered glandular and its malignant form is therefore named adenocarcinoma. Adenocarcinoma was observed in 10 cases (40%) among the group 2 animals and in one case (4%) among the group 3 animals. There were no cases among the group 1 animals.

Adenocarcinoma is a cancerous tumor that starts in cells with gland-like properties (i.e. The majority of all breast, colon, and prostrate cancers are adenocarcinomas. Adenocarcinoma is the most common malignancy in stomach, whereas carcinoid tumor and gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) only represent less than 1% , and approximately 1-3% of gastrointestinal tumors, respectively. Only a handful of cases of gastric collision/composite tumors with two distinct histological combinations (adenocarcinoma and carcinoid tumor, carcinoid tumor and GIST, adenocarcinoma and GIST) have been reported so far. Adenocarcinoma is the most common histological subtype, accounting for about 40% of all malignant small intestinal tumours. The infrequent occurrence when compared with malignancies of the stomach and colon is accompanied by non-specific clinical symptoms.

Adenocarcinoma of the pancreatic head has a 3-year survival rate of only 2%, and the 5-year survival rate after resection is about 20%. The overall survival rate is 0.5%. Adenocarcinoma is the most common type of colon cancer but there are many other forms as well. Examples include leiomyosarcoma, lymphoma, melanoma, and neuroendocrine tumors. Adenocarcinoma occurs in the tissues that line the small intestine. It causes the cells in these tissues to grow and multiply out of control.
